Best Selling House Plan 82162 can be classified as a Craftsman design due to the various siding materials including brick, stone and cedar shake. Heavy timber beams and stone pedestals dress up the front porch along with an arched set of French doors. European elements are noticed in the hip roof and arched windows. The combination of earthy materials gives this home rustic curb appeal.  In addition to 2340 square feet of living space, we have an outdoor grilling porch in the rear with a fireplace and outdoor grill.

The vaulted ceiling of the porch features more timber beams which are also found in the great room. As seen in the photographs, this proud homeowner has employed a decorating style that we have dubbed “Hunter Chic.” Exposed brick of the fireplace reaches from floor to ceiling with a heavy wooden mantel to match the ceiling beams and a large flat screen topped with a deer head. The furniture arrangement offers both leather and fabric seating. The foyer is decorated with a lovely chandelier. Also notice the carriage door modification that was installed for bedroom 2.

Sharing the open space is the kitchen featuring an enormous island with 30 inch counter table. Seating can accommodate many friends / relatives. Stained cabinets, hardwood flooring, marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances fit the style of the home. Here the owner has installed a lovely backsplash, recessed lighting, professional cooktop and iron hanging light fixtures to match the bar seating. In addition, we have a wet bar and a generous pantry. A pocket door takes up no valuable kitchen space when left open and hides any unorganized items when closed.

Place linens in the built in drawers by the shower, and a huge walk in closet allows for storing a great collection of shoes and a large wardrobe. Dividing the double sinks is a tall cabinet, and the mirrors make this the perfect dressing area. The homeowner has finished this bathroom with a marble counter, colorful mottled tile and a modern freestanding tub.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a split bathroom- each has a private sink and pocket door access to the tub / toilet area. Over the garage is bedroom 4 with private bath and walk in closet. This would make a great guest room.
