House Plan 82312 looks like it could outlast any type of weather conditions with its rustic shingle style exterior. Although it’s pictured here on a sunny day with a green lawn, you can also imagine it as a cozy haven set amid layers of snow. Look up to see smoke billowing from the stone chimney. This home offers 1560 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a generous screened porch for those summer days. The kitchen greets you immediately upon entering where you find a large island with 42” bar seating. Sharing space with the kitchen is an open great room where you can enjoy the fireplace or escape to the porch. Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom where they are located privately on the opposite side of the house. A stacked washer/dryer closet serves these rooms. House Plan 82302 exhibits craftsman details with heavy wooden porch pillars with stone bases, shake siding, metal roof accents and a stone chimney. This 2,877 square foot home fits both in a manicured neighborhood or a wooded, rural property. Hanging plants along the generous wraparound porch makes it all the more inviting. In the back corner is a grilling area and steps down to the carport. From here, you can enter the dining room which shares open space with the kitchen and great room. An angled eat-at island bar holds the kitchen sink and keeps the host engaged with guests and family. The great room occupies a vast space at 23’6” by 23’6”. Picture your family lounging on a set of leather sofas arranged around the stone fireplace. The master suite occupies the front of the home with a walk in closet, glass shower with seat, whirlpool tub and double vanity. Also on the first floor is a laundry with utility sink and a powder room. Two more bedrooms and two more bathrooms upstairs are accompanied by a sleeping loft, extra closets and a large, accessible attic storage room.

European elements are found in the hipped roof, stone siding and arched porte cochere (breezeway). The foyer is flanked by a formal dining room and office /study. Straight ahead is the grand hall and luxuriously sized great room with fireplace. An island bar invites you to the kitchen which is done in a stone finish. An L-shaped extension around the pantry allows space for a deep freezer and leads to the mud room and discreet powder room.  Families will appreciate bonus spaces such as the kid’s nook, office and butler’s pantry. In the master suite we have his and hers walk in closets, private toilet, two sinks…and the best part is the double rain head in the shower and the steam area. Upstairs, bedrooms 2,3 and 4 each have a private bathroom while bedrooms 5 and 6 share one with a double sink. Over the garage is a theater room for entertainment.
