Luxury Craftsman House Plan 58274 has 3277 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. A handsome combination of shingle and metal roofing with three dormer windows and craftsman style posts makes this home appealing from the ground up.

You have your choice of three different foundations: basement, crawlspace or slab. The basement layout shows the opportunity for adding two extra bedrooms with walk in closets and a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is no shortage of entertainment space with theater room, gathering room and recreation area with mini kitchen.

The main level opens off the front porch. Though the dining room is separated from the kitchen, serving is still easy as you pass from the kitchen through an angled doorway. A huge attraction for this plan is the outdoor kitchen with grilling area and access to the screened porch with vaulted ceiling. Also off the kitchen is a breakfast room with a view of the backyard and a pantry for storing foodstuffs and cooking necessities.

We love the description of the “friends entrance” porch. While not as formal as the main front porch, the friends entrance holds more prestige than the garage entrance. You can picture friends and neighbors dropping by and meeting you right in the kitchen for a visit. On the way to the garage, we also find a discreet powder room.

A 12’ coffered ceiling graces the family room, and a row of arched windows look out to the covered porch. The master suite also has an exit door out to this porch. Inside the master suite we find a tray ceiling, his and hers closets, dual vanities, garden tub, shower and water closet.

Also off the hallway is a guest suite with its own private bath. With its location at the front of the home, consider adding a door from the foyer so you can use it as a home office where you could meet with clients.

Upstairs, we find bedrooms 3 and 4, each with a private bath and walk in closet and access to a linen closet in the hallway. In addition, we have an optional media room and optional bonus room allowing for plenty of room to expand the living space.
