All plans have been drawn to meet the requirements of the national building codes. Your builder will be able to determine if minor modifications may need to be made to the plans to meet the local building code requirements including and subdivision requirements.

Q:looking for this plan but with 10 foot ceiling to have 9 foot high x 16 wide garage door, do you have for review
A:Since this garage is as wide as it is (24’) it would be easy enough to convert to 10’ ceilings without any drawing changes. There will still be enough room on each side of the garage door for the braced wall panels as required by code. There is a formula for those panels that is based on the height to width ratio.
You can instruct your carpenter/contractor to build this with taller ceilings. I would suggest using 2x6 studs for the wall framing though.
