A: We do not give out the actual dimensions as that would release too much information. This might help – The basement walls obviously stack with the main level walls, so the actual floor square footage would be the same. You would need to take out where the basement wall would be a framed wall versus a concrete wall. That would give the concrete wall company an idea of what the linear length footage of the poured wall would be and the square footage of the poured concrete floor would be the same square footage as the Main Level square footage. Hope this at least helps you out, some.
A: Not for this plan – yet – We do not recommend a 2 x 6 wall. We recommend that you use the foam type wall insulation in a 2x4 wall. In the long run it’s cheaper and it’s a much better product. It’s not a big deal to just adjust that on site with your builder or framer.
