Question: it shows 1224 sq ft,are the numbers correct for room sizes,or does the wall space come out of the sizes.we like this plane ,but numbers dont seem to add up if use room sizes.
Answer: The square footage (1224) is accurate as measured from the outside of heated space, the garage is not included. Room sizes are figured inside to inside dimensions within a 2" tolerance.

Question: will this plan meet michigan building codes.also dosent say roof pitch,or type of trusses,we would like r 45 insulation in ceilings
Answer: The plans typically work out well in Michigan with the 2x6 exterior wall upgrade. The roof pitch is 6/12 and the plans indicate 9 1/2" batt insulation which is about R30, however the contractor can specify 15" batt insul as part of the energy package and that would bring the R value to about 46-51, likewise the roof pitch could be raised if you are in a high snow load area.
