The 9’-2” measurement is from the left edge of the cabinets (left of sink) to the wall edge to the right. The 13’-10” depth measurement is from wall to wall. 4. That is where we have the duct chase running. I do not believe there would be room for a laundry chute there. That would have to be verified by your builder.
