A: The plans are drawn with a stick framed roof. Trusses could easily be used as well...just give the plans to your truss manufacturer and they will prepare the drawings.
A: The door shown is to the attic space for access to mechanical equipment. If your wish is to use this for storage as well, the bathroom would have to either be eliminated or relocated to another area of the bonus room. The bathroom is currently in the best possible space available due to the headroom restraints of the roof structure.
