Brick siding with quoins, a bay window topped by a gable, and a series of interesting rooflines are the exterior architectural elements that form this comfortable 2,308-square-foot family home. A sheltered main entry leads into a big open space with the formal dining room to the left, a wide gallery leading side to side, and a spacious, 335-square-foot great-room with fireplace straight ahead. A French door to the left of the hearth leads onto the rear covered patio. Also open to this space is the kitchen, which uses an angled raised counter to dissect the space between it and the sunny breakfast nook. To the far left of these shared spaces are the home’s two secondary bedroom, which both open onto a shared bath. The master suite, which has a cleverly designed bath and huge adjoining walk-in closet, make up the right wing of the home. The master bedroom also has a private entry onto the rear patio. Also, French doors open from the master suite to the private study set into the front right corner of the house. Because the study has its own full bath, it could be used as a guest suite or fourth bedroom. The two-car garage loads from the side; entry from the garage is conveniently routed through the utility room.
