A: The exterior door is 3'-0" wide by 6'-8" tall. All the interior doors to bedrooms, bathrooms, and utility are 2'-6" wide by 6'-8" tall. The hallways are 3'-2" wide. The space between the kitchen island and the opposite countertop is 3'-6". All the doors between the hallway and bedrooms 2, 3, and 4, and the bathrooms could be enlarged to 2'-8" in width without any change to the drawings, just by specification to the builder. And it would be possible to enlarge the doors to the master bedroom and the utility room to 2'-8" by making the jambs 3" instead of the 4" as shown. Doors to bedrooms and bathrooms that are 2'-8" in width will comply with universal design standards.
A: The great room has a vaulted ceiling and the kitchen has a flat ceiling. The dotted line represents the change in ceiling height. The square is a post that holds the beam that holds the great room ceiling/roof. There are sliding glass doors on either side of the fireplace that access the screen porch and there is a hinged screen door between the front deck and the screen porch.
A: Bedroom dimensions do not include the closets. The 40' depth is from outside of exterior wall to outside of exterior wall.
A: Bedroom wing is flat ceiling at 8'-0"; great room is vaulted ceiling from 8'-0" at exterior walls to 13'-8" at ridge. Modification requests would be processed through the modifications tab on the plans detail's page.
