House Plan With Detached Garage 43614 offers 4 bedrooms. Firstly, most homes on the market have only 3 bedrooms. In contrast, this new construction plan offers 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom is located in the back of the floor plan, and it includes a bathroom with two vanities and attached walk-in closet. Choose between the walk-in shower or the soaking tub when you're ready to relax at the end of the day.
Secondly, two bedrooms are located upstairs. If your children are older, they will enjoy having the second floor all to themselves. They share a full bathroom. Q:I am wondering if you can provide more information on the ceiling profile inside - is it vaulted to a point/ridge beam? I see that trusses are listed - is the ceiling intended to be flat? what happens to the interior ceiling lines at the loft? Also, I noted that the rear shed dormer is not outlined in the floorplan. What happens to this space in your plan? Thanks
A:The majority of the home is truss roof framing, with the exception of the great room and loft area. Through that portion of the house, the plans detail stick framing for the roof system that includes both dormers. The front shed dormer has a floor system planned, which is why it appears on the second floor plan, but the rear shed dormer simply acts as clerestory for the patio below. This would all appear very clearly on a study set version of the house if the customer is looking for more in-depth details! I’m also happy to answer any additional questions.
