One Story Country Living House Plan
One Story Country Living House Plan 60102 welcomes you with a charming front porch. This modern farmhouse design has 1,800 square feet of living space, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Buyers will snap up this house because the living space is open and inviting. Plus, the rooms are functional when it's time to get work done. Best of all, your family will make memories grilling out on the back porch.
One Story Country Living House Plan with L-shaped kitchen
In entering the front door, you immediately feel the openness of the great room, kitchen, and dining area. The 10' ceilings and fireplace in the great room add to that open, inviting feeling. Arrange plush furniture in a semi-circle around the fireplace. Bring in a large bowl of popcorn and start up a game of Monopoly on family night. When it comes to having guests over, they will be drawn to the shelves flanking the fireplace. Place your favorite travel souvenirs here to use as conversation-starters.
The kitchen in One Story Country Living House Plan 60102 features an island with an eating bar. When the kids come home from school, they will perch on a barstool for an afternoon snack. Now is the chance to talk about their day at school and really connect. After all, the kitchen is the heart of the home! Also, included off of the dining area is a large walk in pantry and spacious laundry room. We all know the drill: laundry never ends. Busy families will appreciate having lots of elbow room when it's time to get chores done.
Split-bedroom layout and great master retreat
The split floor plan allows a nice escape to the master suite. When the kids have friends over, things can get pretty loud and chaotic. Mom and Dad will appreciate being on the opposite side of the house. Included is a generous master bath with his and her vanities, private water closet, and walk-in shower. As a side note, there is no tub. Most modern homes are being designed without a tub in the master bath because they have declined in popularity. The walk-in closet provides great storage as it measures 8'8 wide by 8' deep.
Two other bedrooms on the left side of the house have closets and share the spacious guest bathroom. Busy families will flourish because this home is easy to maintain: it's only one level, and it has only two bathrooms. That leaves more time to just enjoy being together. For example, spend time on the the back covered porch, or store your boat under the carport, and take off for adventure at a moment's notice.
A: Hello, The vaulted ceiling in the great room starts at 12', and slopes up to approx. 17'-8" at the peak. There is additional attic space above the great room, so that the vaulted ceiling could be elevated all the way up to starting at 15' height, and sloping up to approx. 20'-8". It could also be lowered to 9 or 10' starting point if you prefer less volume. The dormer on the front could be open to the great room vault, or not. Thanks.
A: Hello, See plan 60109 for a slightly larger, 2149 s.f. version with a slightly different front. 59952 is slightly different floor plan with a more country style exterior. 59994 is a brick version, hipped roofs, more french country style 24603 is a new plan, so we havent had time to create many alternate versions of it yet. Check back in the future, as we are always working on new plans. 24603 can also be modified to change the exterior, if you have something else in mind. You can submit a modification request to get a quote for the cost to modify it. Thanks.
A: 9' plus the step down between house and porch. Typically, the step down would be at least 4", so somewhere around 9'-4", depending on how far you choose to lower the porch. Thanks.
A: Sure. There is a slab foundation option available at no extra cost. Your builder can modify the exterior walls to be block. Perhaps the intent was to use 8x8x16 block. We are not aware of an 8x8x13 size. The metal roof is an easy site change too. Thanks.
A: See plan 60106 for the basement version. It comes with a full, unfinished, non walkout type basement. The basement is empty storage space with one egress window with optional window well. Thanks.
A: Hello, We do have a larger version with a garage. See plan 59995.
A: Hello, Yes, there is a brick skirt all the way around the house, which could be deleted by the builder onsite. The front porch has a metal roof shown, and the rest of it is shingles. You could of course use either type wherever you like. There is no difference other than the type roofing you wish to use. Thanks.
A: Yes you can! Please click the "Modifications" tab above to get more information.
A: The national average for a house is running right at $125.00 per SF. You can get more detailed information by clicking the Cost-To-Build tab above. Sorry, but we cannot give cost estimates for garage, multifamily or project plans.
