A:A design such as this with a walk-out basement is best suited for a lot that slopes away from the street. On a flat lot you would have to bring in fill to raise up around the front.

A:House 69509 is 1996 sq.ft. The façade could be made into craftsman in field if you wanted.

Q:1. Can you give the Great Room a 16 ft. vaulted ceiling? 2. Can this home be built on a slab without the lower living area?
A:To create a 16 ft high great room would require a redesign of the roofline to raise the rear wall at the great room. A version without the lower level is plan 90667.
