A: Good morning, Thank you for the inquiry. No, the existing plans do not call for an extended overhang over the kitchen door like the one shown below (over the front door). Luckily, this extension is just a continuation of the existing roofline, though, so it could be mimicked with little difficulty. It’s very likely that, in a majority of the country, this change could simply be handled on site by the contractor or roofers. If the customer does live in an area that is very strict about blueprint submissions, it could also be modified.

A: The Chimney is offset for the furnace and water heater, no fireplace. The foundation calls out poured concrete instead of block. This can easily be substituted by the builder. The overall dimensions of the house are 32’ wide by 24’ deep, excluding the front and back porches which are each 4’-0” deep. The material list does show a separate section for the optional bedroom.
