A: You are correct, the proper ridge height is 24 ft 6 inches
A: A two story home has the kit/din/livingroom (plus sometimes a bedroom) on the ground level and the bedrooms on the upper level. This is a Basement entry home, ALL of the important living areas , kit, din, living room and bedrooms on the upper level, the entry foyer is on the ground level as well as a laundry and study. The foundation is usually a slab but it will also work with a crawlspace or in the ground basement. It is not always easy to classify a house such as this one. Although it has two stories out of the ground it is not classified as a TWO STORY HOUSE previously described. This type of house lends nicely to converting the extra bedroom 5, bathroom and games room to a suite that is out of ground sharing the laundry with the owners residence. Or B&B rental.will work well as it has its own entrance at the back.
