Split-Level House Plans

When you're planning to build a home, there are many different style options to consider. If you want a a house with several levels, a split-level home may be the way to go. A split level home is a variation of a Ranch home. It has two or more floors, and the front door opens up to a landing that is between the main and lower levels. Stairs lead down to the lower or up to the main level. The upper level typically contains the bedrooms, while the lower has the kitchen and living areas.
