The full apartment at the rear of this lovely country home has many uses, from housing an aging parent to an independent space for a college student or a live-in caregiver. The third garage bay means they have room to park, too. The central gathering areas are breezy and open with many doors and windows that can be thrown open in the summer to let passing breezes naturally cool the house. A split-bedroom layout puts the master suite on the left for privacy and two family bedrooms on the right.
Ask the Designer any question you may have. NOTE: If you have a plan modification question, please click on the Plan Modifications tab above.
A: With this existing design and higher ceilings it would be very tough to get a working second floor with multiple Bedrooms and a Bath. I would not recommend it. Would be easier to finish the Basement.
A: Currently the plans show no door going to the basement, but one could easily be added if needed.
A: This plan has a Basement option and the stairs are placed between the kitchen and the Living room. Stairs would be just to the left of the front entry door. I hope this helps.
A: The square footage of the back apartment area is 780 sq. ft.
A: Thanks for your interest in our design. The plans have been purchased several times over the years throughout the country, but we do not obtain the building address.
A: Yes, we have it available on a partial basement. The basement is below the main house and a crawlspace is below the Guest Suite.
A: Yes you can! Please click the "Modifications" tab above to get more information.
A: The national average for a house is running right at $125.00 per SF. You can get more detailed information by clicking the Cost-To-Build tab above. Sorry, but we cannot give cost estimates for garage, multifamily or project plans.
