Strong country lines blend regional traditions in this design, which features a Southern-rural-porch look with a more Pennsylvania-Dutch pair of gables, the chief one of which is topped by a cupola. The porch spans the central structure and both shelters the entry and prevents the hottest sun from penetrating the front windows. The entry is recessed slightly, giving the front a more textured look. The foyer, or entrance hall, opens into the spacious, 352-square-foot great-room, which has a cathedral ceiling and fireplace.
