It's the little things - decorative eave vents, wooden shutters, a porch column, multi-pane windows - that create the initial impression of this home. But it's the thoughtful floor plan that gives it lasting appeal. Consider, for instance, the placement of the master suite on the main level, while family bedrooms are upstairs - convenient separation allowing full livability of the main level for empty-nesters. Vaulted ceilings adorn the living areas: a great room with corner fireplace, a dining room with sliding doors to a covered, vaulted porch, and a private office with double-door entry. The kitchen features an island work area and has the use of a walk-in pantry just around the corner. Don't overlook amenities in the master suite: a large walk-in closet, a fully appointed bath and a lovely wide window with views of the rear yard. Cabinet elevations are included for kitchen and bathrooms; some designs feature cabinet elevations for design–related built–ins too.

Q: Are the dimensions shown on the floor plan the interior dimensions? The shelving unit at the top of the staircase - does that extend all the way to the ceiling? What is the niche? A: The shelves do not go to the ceiling. They are 3 feet high. The room dimensions are inside wall to inside wall. Exterior walls are 2 x 6 and inter walls are 2 x 4. The triangle in bedroom 3 is the mechanical chase. A niche is a framed out space for art work or a vase etc: it is 2 feet left to right a 1 foot deep.
