European Traditional House Plan 24952 with 2,179 Sq Ft, 3 Bedrooms, Bonus Room and 2-Car Garage
European Traditional house plan 24952, from the distinguished Garlinghouse collection, masterfully combines the timeless elegance of European architecture with the open-concept functionality today's homeowners desire. Offering 2,179 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space, this exceptional one-story home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a versatile bonus room, and an attached 2-car garage. Every detail has been carefully planned to maximize natural light, improve traffic flow, and create comfortable living spaces that are equally suited for everyday family life and entertaining.
The exterior showcases classic European styling with refined rooflines, elegant proportions, and timeless architectural detailing that creates outstanding curb appeal. Traditional design elements blend seamlessly with contemporary influences, resulting in a home that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Whether built in an established neighborhood or on a spacious country homesite, this design offers enduring beauty that will remain stylish for generations.
Step through the front entry into an impressive gallery where one of the home's signature architectural features immediately captures your attention—a dramatic glass block wall that filters natural light while creating visual interest and privacy. Beyond the gallery, the warm glow of the fireplace provides a stunning focal point that welcomes family and guests into the heart of the home.
The spacious great room is centered around a unique three-sided fireplace that serves as both a beautiful architectural feature and a functional room divider. Along with an integrated entertainment center, the fireplace subtly defines the great room, dining area, and kitchen while preserving the openness that makes this floor plan ideal for entertaining. Skylights throughout the living areas introduce abundant natural light, creating a bright, airy atmosphere that enhances the home's inviting character.
The thoughtfully designed kitchen offers excellent visibility into the surrounding living spaces thanks to carefully positioned windows and open sightlines. A bright breakfast area provides the perfect place for casual meals while allowing homeowners to enjoy views outdoors. Efficient workspace, generous cabinetry, and smooth connections to both the dining room and great room make meal preparation enjoyable while keeping family and guests close by.
One of the home's greatest strengths is its carefully planned circulation. The gallery creates a graceful transition between the public gathering spaces and the private bedroom wing, providing both privacy and intuitive movement throughout the home. The owner's suite serves as a luxurious retreat featuring a vaulted ceiling, spacious ensuite bathroom, and an innovative walk-in closet with dual access doors—one from the bedroom and another directly from the bathroom. This thoughtful design detail greatly enhances everyday convenience while adding exceptional livability to the suite.
Two additional bedrooms provide comfortable accommodations for family members or guests and share convenient access to a full bathroom. Above, the versatile bonus room offers unlimited possibilities as a home office, media room, playroom, hobby space, fitness room, or guest suite, allowing the home to adapt as your family's needs evolve over time.
The attached 2-car garage provides secure parking along with generous storage for vehicles, tools, lawn equipment, bicycles, and seasonal items. Available with basement, crawlspace, or slab foundation options, house plan 24952 offers flexibility for a variety of homesites while maintaining its timeless European character.
Beautiful architectural details, innovative design features, and exceptional functionality make house plan 24952 one of the most distinctive homes in the Garlinghouse collection. From its dramatic gallery and three-sided fireplace to its bright living spaces and versatile bonus room, this home delivers comfort, elegance, and enduring value for today's families.
