A: Good morning, Yes, the plan can be modified to make those changes. The change request can be submitted to the modifications team through the plan modifications tab on the site. The Second Floor ceilings do not slope as drawn. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
A: There is no reason that this plan could not be conventionally framed wit 2x4 or 2x6 studs, and a siding exterior rather than logs.
A: Thank you very much for your interest in our plan. Since there is such a wide variation with how homes are built across the nation, we do not offer a bill of materials with our plans. Our working drawings are detailed enough that they can be given to your builder, or local lumber yard and the material quantities established locally. A: The entire rear of the house including the bump outs is a shed roof which slopes up to the two story section of the house and also sheds into the roof over the Master Bedroom. This has the effect of a rear porch that was partially enclosed, as was the case in so many of the original log homes. If I can help further please let me know.
