A:It would become a closet. Typically the mechanicals are done on site and provided through the builder's recommendations.

Q:On plan # 86344 there appear to be " columns" from floor to ceiling surrounding the dining room . Looks like they straddle from dining room , foyer , and great room . " Columns " aren't " acceptable " to my eyes. I don't care for their appearance . I want to know that if these are some type of support /load bearing columns ; can they be encased in ( dry ) wall ?

Q:Is their a ‘piling’ plan that goes with these plans. Also, it says the main area of the house is 2010 s.f. What about the upper loft? Is that part of the house added to the 2010 or part of it? Thanks, Paul
A:This would have to be engineered to include any additional plans such as piling plans. The house is 2010 sq ft.. There isn't a 2nd floor at this time.

Q:Hi, I'm in south Florida and would do this home on a slab with Masonry walls rather than stick built. Is this home ok for that type of construction?
A:The plan design would need to be reviewed by a local engineer so that they are bought to the code requirements but this should not pose any issue.

The foundation can be changed on site to accommodate the home owner.

A:The black dots are columns and the dotted lines connecting them are the beams above defining the space. It automatically comes with a basement and a crawlspace foundation. They can chose to build whichever one.
