Hillside Modern House Plan with Drive Under Garage
Large stone columns and a 12-foot tall covered porch give this plan an elegant, yet welcoming, exterior. The elegance continues into the house where a 12ft foyer greets its guests. To the left is a den, which could be a third bedroom if needed, or a great space for an office. The first bedroom is just next door to that. Through the hallway out of the foyer leads to the great room. The great room has a vaulted ceiling and a large bay of windows to give it a sunny, open feel. A fireplace sits in the great room opposite the kitchen, so it can be enjoyed from many spaces. The kitchen has a large island for extra prep space and a dining area with a stepped ceiling for an added note of elegance. The owners' suite takes up the right side of the house with its private bath and walk-in closet. The owners' suite also has its own, private covered patio. The garage sits below grade, ideal for a sloped lot, and enters the house from a staircase into the utility room.Special Features:

A: Thank you for your inquiry, it doesn’t look like we have any photos or renderings for this plan's basement stair location. We have consulted with the design staff and the basement stairs would be located in the following: •The basement stairs will be at the left rear wall of the garage with the top of the stairs coming off of the foyer. •The foyer coat closet will be a little smaller and move forward to accommodate the basement stairs. •The front of the garage will stretch forward 4’ to accommodate the basement stairs. Let us know if you have any questions about the house plan.
A: The distance from the garage floor slab to the main finished floor of the living area is 6’-8”.
