A: Hello, The walls in this garage are 10’ tall now, but you could increase them to 12’ tall if desired. Another way to get taller ceilings is to use scissor trusses. The interior ceiling would be vaulted. A general rule of them is that the interior ceiling slope is half of the exterior roof pitch. In this case, the interior ridge would be +/- 36 inches higher than your exterior wall height. This is a good way to get extra ceiling height if you have a building height restriction.
