Q: THE ROOF PITCH IS ACUALLY 8-12 ON THIS PLAN?

A: Yes, it is a little difficult to see in the illustration. There is a shed roof over the front porch and kitchen that has a 4/12 pitch on it. That runs into the 8/12 pitch about half way up the roof.
