Previous Q & A
Q:Can the loft accommodate an apartment with kitchen, bathroom, laundry, etc? If yes, is it engineered to handle the weight of an apartment? Thank you. What is the square footage not including the sloped sections?
A:Yes it is. The square footage is 777. We can revise the upstairs layout to accommodate the change for $450. Please allow 4-6 wk lead time.
Q:on the upstairs dimensions, can you tell me what the wall height would be at the 21 foot width. It appears on the plans that there is a knee wall much closer in. Just wondering what the actual usable space of the upstairs is. Thanks.
A:The kneewall height is 5' and would stay 5' but the room size would be 11'-10" wide.
Q:what is the ceiling height? what is the height of the garage door?
A:Ceiling is 10’ ht The doors are 12’ x 8’ and 20’ x 8’
Q:Are there any columns in the garage that hold up the second floor. Will you send an image showing the locations? Is the siding board and batten or metal?
A:There are no structural columns on the plans. The siding is board and batten, but you can use any material you prefer.
