A: Hello, Yes, we do offer a 2x6 version. The basement layout comes with one beam in middle running left to right with 5 steel support posts spaced approx. 8' apart. The floor joists are labeled as prefab (engineered) floor joists, but it would be a simple matter to add one more 12' long beam under bedroom 3, so no span is greater than 16'. 2x12@16" on center could then be used for floor joists.
