A: Hi. What material is the rounded roof made out of? We are thinking seriously of ordering the plans, but our builder said this part (which is one of my favorite) will be very expensive to build. Any help is appreciated.
A: Do you have a rendering of the bonus room? No. I'm not sure how much of the space will be usable for a library/study area and TV viewing area. At what point are the walls lower than 8' on the floor plan? At the dotted line ceiling is 9’, knee walls are 5’ tall I'd like to put bookshelves around on of the corners. Also, what is next to the sink in the utility room? Just counter space and base cabinet. Also, does the cost to build estimate include the fireplace indoors, the outdoor fireplace, the 2 porches and the lanai? the QUICK-Cost-To-Build is based only on the living space listed for that particular house plan and on the zip code in which you are building. It is not specific to the materials needed for that house plan. Please read the limitations associated with the cost estimates. Could the part of front facade that is stone come straight down and not in a triangular shape? Yes.
A: Bonus ceiling is 10’ at the center – 5’ side walls.
A: In the hallway between the 2 bedrooms.
A: They come with electrical schematics showing locations of lights and outlets, etc. and how they are to be switched. No wire size or circuiting which must be done by a licensed electrician.
Plumbing and A/C is a site specific design that depends on orientation. Licensed Plumbers and HVAC contractors will usually perform this service as part of their contract.
A: They may not show up on the web artwork, but they are above all the toilets.
A: That was not a door way, just an opening and we opted to remove it for the rendering.
A: In the attic with a fiberglass drain pan and drain line for potential leaks.
