Our house plans will include schematic electrical drawings; however, circuiting or wire sizing will not be included. Your electrical subcontractor will typically provide these drawings.

HVAC and plumbing drawings are not included. Your mechanical and plumbing subcontractors will determine the best layout for your site. Local HVAC codes, climatic requirements and commonly used systems vary throughout the country. The direction of how water flow will enter the home vary from case to case. For this reason, it is impossible to provide universal plans.

Q: What s the cross section drawing..? Is there truss drawings with roof plan? How much with half basement under master end of house?

A: A cross-section is a 2D diagram showing a “cut” through the center of the house. This helps see how ceiling treatments, floors, etc look from space to space across that cut line. Hope that helps? The plan calls out i-joists and their direction, but we do not provide separate framing sheets. The roof assumes dimensional lumber. If they want to use trusses they will need to obtain drawings locally from a truss manufacturer.
