Tired of the same old white siding on every farmhouse construction plan? Let's normalize a new modern aesthetic with chic gray vertical siding and thick brown porch columns. But while we modernize, we keep your favorite farmhouse features. For example, this new design has a great big front covered porch measuring 32' wide by 9' deep. The color may be "moody," but place a few rocking chairs outside, and your mood will be a good one for sure!
Moody Modern Farmhouse Plan With Traditional Features
Moody Modern Farmhouse Plan 72265 offers so many upgrades! Firstly, look upstairs where you will find a bonus room and future bathroom. Large families are always in need of more room. Whether you have more kids or you have extended family over for the holidays, this design has room. The unfinished bonus room measures 11' wide by 25' deep. The storage room on the opposite end measures 11' wide by 7'6 deep. In between, there's a layout for a full bathroom. Finish some or all of these spaces to increase the living space and ultimately the value of your home.
Secondly, this home offers great functional spaces. For example, see the 2 car, side load garage and the great entry. The entry shows a line of hooks where you can hang coats and bags. Next, we have a large laundry room with lots of counter space for folding clothes. Thirdly, homeowners love open living space. The great room is anchored by a cozy fireplace flanked with built-ins where you can display family photos. Pass by the butler's pantry and enter a kitchen with large island and walk-in pantry. Local HVAC codes, climatic requirements and commonly used systems vary throughout the country. The direction of how water flow will enter the home vary from case to case. For this reason, it is impossible to provide universal plans.
