Farmhouse, Country Style Cottage Plan With Detached Garage
Southern Style Cottage Plan 74001 can be categorized as budget-friendly because it is under 1500 square feet of living space. Yes, this home is 1,428 square feet! This thoughtfully-designed floor plan has open living space, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Build in the sunny South and sit on the shaded front porch all year around. For our clients in a colder climate, build with 2x6 walls for extra insulation. Plus, note that we have a 2 car garage option to shelter your vehicles from the snow. Exterior dimensions of the house are 37 feet wide by 48 feet deep, and of course this overall size on your lot is larger if you add the 2 car detached garage. Choose this plan for its charming simplicity, and build it with pretty white vertical siding and gray shingles.
Southern Style Cottage Plan With Bonus Room
Southern Style Cottage Plan 74001 comes with several different options. Even better, with your purchase, you get all of the displayed floor plan layouts and all three foundation types. For example, you will receive the standard floor plan which goes with the slab or crawlspace foundation. Plus, you will get the floor plan showing the staircase which goes with the basement foundation and bonus room options. These options help you plan out your build. You can make it simple and build this home on one level only. You can add a bonus room upstairs plus another bathroom. You can build on a basement and then finish that level for more bedrooms, storage, and recreation space. The choices are yours, and they can create an entirely different home depending on what you do.
Secondly, let's be sure to enjoy the outdoors. Your front porch measures 28 feet wide by 6 feet deep. That porch is calling for a swing and for potted plants to make it even more friendly. Also, set up your grill in the back between your house and the detached garage. Kick back in a lounge chair and spend time with your family when you want a little more privacy from the neighbors. When it comes to recreation, some will turn their detached garage into a man cave of sorts so they can have a place to hang out away from the hustle and bustle inside the home. The interior of the garage measures 21'4 wide by 21'4 deep, and it's spaced out 8 feet away from the house. Two windows admit natural light into your garage as well.
Well-Designed 3 Bed, 2 Bath Home
Thirdly, Southern Style Cottage Plan 74001 is the perfect choice when you want to build a 3 BD, 2 BA home plan. Homes with 3 beds and 2 baths are always in high demand, so start off strong by building a home that will always be popular in the real estate market. Let's take a look at the design on the standard level 1 floor plan. Open the front door and land in a foyer. Immediately, you have a good-sized coat closet to catch clutter. The living space is very long and open, and the sloped ceiling makes it feel more spacious. You have an optional fireplace which you can surround with comfortable furniture. Next, the length of the room lends itself to a long rectangular dining table. The kitchen counter is open to the great room, and there is an option to rearrange and add in a pantry.
Three bedrooms are displayed on the main level, and the master suite is located at the rear of the home. It includes a long walk-in closet, and the bathroom includes a window for natural light. Outside of the master, you can quickly arrive at bedroom 2, so that makes it a great nursery. Both of these bedrooms also have quick access to the laundry closet and another closet for storing towels and extra sets of sheets. Bedroom 3 is located at the front end of the house, and it would be a nice guest room or den. The guest bathroom is designed so that both small bedrooms can access it easily.
