Q:Is the crawlspace 8" block?
A:The plans show an 8" wide poured concrete wall for the crawlspace foundation. The customer can substitute masonry block (CMU's) per IRC 2021 Section R404.1.3
Q:My husband and I like this layout. we are looking to build on a walkout basement with the walkout part being at the front of the house. Do you have any floorpans that are similar, just a tad larger and with the basement? Also, we are looking to do a hybrid post and beam (Kitchen, Living, Dining as the post and beam), the rest of the house would be stick built. Would you be able to adjust the plans accordingly?
A:"The basement walkout is located at the rear of the house. The rear porch becomes a covered deck and the exterior door in the master bathroom becomes a window. The roof is a truss layout with scissor trusses in the living room and kitchen to create the vaulted ceiling."
