Previous Q & A
Q:Would there be enough room under the stair landing to relocate the toilet in the master bath? I do plan on adding a staircase there to the attic.
A:I do not think that would work.
Q:I love the pictures you show of the modified plan. Can you tell me if the modifications you show are on the same foundation as the original plan? I know there is additional sq footage in the finished attic.
A:I believe that this plan was built on a crawlspace foundation.
Q:Is there a sketch available for the attic space? I read a comment that stated there is about 1,200 sq. feet.
A:I’m sorry, there is no sketch for the attic space.
Q:Another question. Where is the heating unit, water heater and furnace?
A:Between the family room and the garage. Some general contractors have relocated them to the garage as well.
Q:What is ceiling height in utility room and storage area?
A:10’
Q:I'd like to know what the square footage of the attic is. From the photos it looks like it could be usable space.
A:Thank you for your inquiry. In looking at the working drawings there is a “basic” footprint of roughly 1200 square feet. Depending upon how the roof is framed by your contractor, you might be able to make use of 40%?, possibly a little more or less.
Common Q & A
Q:Can I make modifications to this plan?
A:Yes you can! Please click the "Modifications" tab above to get more information.
