In the winter, when the snow is covering your landscape and Christmas lights are twinkling on the eaves, your house will be the one that everyone wants to visit. Lead them through the foyer and into the great room, where the vaulted ceilings allow for a truly massive Christmas tree. Your guests will not know where to look first. They will be able to gaze out at the snow through the floor-to-ceiling French windows that perfectly frame your tree, or they can settle in on the sofa to enjoy the crackling, cheerful fire in your fireplace. Cabinet elevations are included for kitchen and bathrooms; some designs feature cabinet elevations for design–related built–ins too.

Building sections show changes in floor, ceiling, or roof height, and the relationship of one level to another. Our section pages also show how the stairs are calculated (if there are some) and depict roof and foundation members. We try and draw sections to show the most useful information — choosing locations where there are elements you or your contractor might need clarification on.
