Plan Description
Unique Farmhouse Plan with Mother-In-Law Suite, Safe Room, Grilling Porch and Screened Porch
Farmhouse Plan with Safe Room 82676 has 3,005 square feet of living space on the main level. In addition, the upper level game room can be finished to add another 1,156 square feet. Outside, take your choice of grilling porch, screened porch, or wraparound front porch for relaxation. The 3 car garage is equipped with a storage room and a safe room. Lock your valuables in the safe room, or use it to keep your family sheltered if you live in a storm-prone area.
Farmhouse Plan with Safe Room with Traditional Living Space
Are you looking for a home plan WITHOUT open living space? It's hard to find enclosed living space nowadays because it's not the norm. However, we do have clients who are not a fan of open living space. Instead, they prefer a more traditional layout. For example, the kitchen and living room can be closed off from one another. Enter the front door of Farmhouse Plan with Safe Room 82676, and you are greeted by a staircase much like you would be in an older farmhouse. The great room is modest in size, and the appeal comes from the coziness you will enjoy when snuggled in front of the fireplace in the winter.
When you're in the kitchen, you can't even see the great room. Some of our clients like this traditional layout because they can separate the food preparation space from the entertaining space. The dining room is open to the kitchen however, and it's convenient for quickly moving platters of food to and from the table. Not to mention, the grilling porch is also immediately accessible through the back door. Cook inside or outside; the choice is yours. Notice that the kitchen functions like a hub. You can step into your home office or continue on down the hallway to access several other rooms.
Floor Plan With In-law Suite and Craft Room
Farmhouse Plan with Safe Room 82676 offers a combination of features that are sometimes hard to find. Firstly, you can enter the in-law suite from the 3 car garage. Grandma and Grandpa will utilize bedroom 3, and it's connected to an open living space with small kitchen and great room. They have a private laundry room, full bathroom, and screened porch with storage room. Also, they can easily access the main house by passing through the main laundry room. From there, Grandma might stop in the craft room if she has any artistic interests.
The master suite is located at the front of the house. Mom and Dad enjoy having his and her closets, double vanity, private water closet, big walk-in shower, and linen closet. Bedroom 2 is located on the other side of the kitchen, so Mom and Dad have lots of privacy. Best of all, this house plan has lots of room to expand. Upstairs, you will find a proposed game room. Finish this space to add more bedrooms or entertainment for your family.
