Previous Q & A
Q:I am interested in this plan, but it looks like it can only be ordered with 2x4 exterior walls. Would I have to pay for a plan modification for 2x6 exterior walls (required for adequate insulation in New Hampshire), or is this a modification that a builder could make on their own?
A:We can move the interior wall to the inside 2” to create a 2 x 6 exterior wall for $125.00 in a 1 week or less timeframe
It is best to have the plans repaired so the builder and the permitting departments do not have to make changes in the permit process
Q:If were to add a chase in the pantry by the W/D area area where would that come out in the attic space?
A:The below in Green shows where it comes out upstairs in the attic. We made the chase 18” deep and the width of the pantry,
A:1: We can move the interior wall to the inside 2” and that takes 2” out of the width of the rooms for $275.00
2: We can move the exterior wall to the outside 2” for $575.00 – remember this will add 4” to the width of the house and add some additional minor square footage
We can make this change in a 1 week timeframe.
You would purchase the PDF file through Family Home Plans and handle the changes fee directly with us.
Q:Can you show me the front elevation of this house with a crawl space?
A:We currently do not have a Crawl Space foundation option but can create one for you for $450.00 with a 1 week or less timeframe.
The front elevation will not look much different besides having 1 or two steps to the front porch from the grade level at the garage.
