If this is not economical, might have to look into a method with posts to ground instead? Any suggestions appreciated. (N. Georgia area)

Q:I love this plan, beautiful. Where have you Tucked away the mechanics ie Heat/air and hot water? Also what are you recommending is the siding and the roof material.
A:We’ve left some flexibility for the mechanicals. Most people are using tankless water heaters installed on the garage walls and Ductless HVAC units mounted on the interior wall upstairs.
But you could easily run ductwork in the floor/ceiling and have a mechanical closet along the rear wall to conceal the furnace and water heater
