A: Bedroom windows are 2-8x6-0. The ceilings in the dining, kitchen, and great room could all be 10'. However, the rear plane of the main roof frames from the rear wall of dining/kitchen/master bedroom at a 9' plate height. To make the ceilings 10', you would have to raise that whole plate to 10' to accommodate the higher ceilings.
