This tiny home is the perfect bare essentials house design, a simple 4 corner house plan with a low pitch gable roof. The large deck provides a place for wood storage for the wood stove in the living room. A: Yes and no. The design doesn't have to change but it will need gable wall bracing, uplift straps at the trusses, and better tie-downs to the foundation. It will also have to be sheathed with plywood or OSB to provide the wall bracing. These things can be added while under construction by the builder.
