Q: Re: Garage Plan 64836 What is the roof pitch on this design? Also What is the floor to peak measurement in the bonus room, then the measurement at 6' from center. Thank You, Mike.

A: The roof pitch for this plan is 14/12. The peak in the bonus area is at 7'-0" and the knee wall is at 3'-9".

Q: Can you tell me 1st flr ceiling ht, wall ht to top plate, 2nd flr to bottom of ridge beam and/or collar beam. Want unit like 64836. Can live with 7.5 ft fst flr clearance if increased head room on 2nd. Also, can go 28 ft depth. Have not decided on exterior siding/veneer/stucco, etc. Before I order, would like to see framing cross section. I would prefer conventional framing over trusses but can live with trusses if they do not clutter my loft area. Am located in Phoenix. Look forward to your response - Thanks, Russ

A: The first floor ceiling height is 8'-6" from slab to ceiling, the wall height to top plate is 8'-2". Second floor is 7'-0". You can have the plan modified to get 28 feet depth. The roof system is made of trusses with the floor incorporated in it.

A: The height of the knee wall is 3'-9".
