This one bedroom cottage is ideal for use as a guest house, vacation cabin or for aging parents. The front porch is a full 8 foot deep and can accommodate rocking chairs and porch swings. Enter the front door and you will be amazed at the space. The living area is large enough for a full size furniture arrangement. The kitchen is compact but contains an abundance of work space. There is a floor to ceiling pantry and a moveable island. The master suite has two walk-in closets, one of which is huge. A full size bath is accessible from the bedroom or the hall. This plan includes an abundance of energy efficient features, such as 2x6 walls, that cost no more to build but saves approximately 50% of heating and cooling cost. QUICK Cost-To-Build estimates are available for single family, stick-built, detached, 1 story, 1.5 story and 2 story home plans with attached or detached garages, pitched roofs on flat to gently sloping sites.QUICK Cost-To-Build estimates are not available for specialty plans and construction such as garage / apartment, townhouse, multi-family, hillside, flat roof, concrete walls, log cabin, home additions, and other designs inconsistent with the assumptions outlined in Item 1 above.
User is able to select and have costs instantly calculate for slab on grade, crawlspace or full basement options.
