A beautiful, practical home that is well suited to busy families. With an asymmetric design that hugs the circular driveway, this home will welcome you as you approach. While the home’s layout draws on classic Ranch design principles, features like exterior stonework, exposed beams and shingle siding give it the comfortable, traditional look of a lodge in the mountains. An attached three-car garage gives you room for vehicles, recreational equipment, storage, DIY projects and more. As you walk through the front door and into the foyer, you’ll find a conveniently situated closet and half bathroom to the left. The foyer opens into a large vaulted great room that features a beautiful picture window – perfect for framing your Christmas tree or holiday decorations. The great room transitions into a large kitchen and dining area with ready access to the back porch and patio. The kitchen itself features a large island with plenty of room for cooking and family dinners. A large walk-in pantry attached to the kitchen gives you ample space for dry goods and kitchen tools. The floorplans include an electrical legend, and electrical fittings, lights and outlets are shown. Floor Plans will also indicate cross–section details (provided on the sections page) and show any special framing details applicable to the design. Cabinet elevations are included for kitchen and bathrooms; some designs feature cabinet elevations for design–related built–ins too.
Building Sections
Building sections show changes in floor, ceiling, or roof height, and the relationship of one level to another. Our section pages also show how the stairs are calculated (if there are some) and depict roof and foundation members. We try and draw sections to show the most useful information — choosing locations where there are elements you or your contractor might need clarification on.
