Modern Farmhouse Plan 81869 is a three level house offering 2,775 square feet of living space. Level 1 is the main floor with great open living space and a one car garage. Level 2 includes 3 bedrooms + a home office. The lower level is the finished basement, and it gives your family two more bedrooms along with a fun family room. Overall, the footprint is 48 feet wide by 30' deep including a covered terrace in the back with room for comfortable outdoor furniture and a firepit feature. Modern Farmhouse Plan With Tons of Natural Light
Modern Farmhouse Plan 81869 presents with great features. Firstly, check out the front facade with its huge windows! The tall, narrow, two-story window provides natural light for the staircase. Next, two huge windows on the right side light up the two story living room. We love the clean white vertical siding paired with back window frames and black garage door for the 1 car garage. Natural wood frames the stoop entry to the front door, and farmhouse style light fixtures reinforce the nostalgic style of this new construction plan.
Secondly, natural materials are used inside as well. Instead of a boring wall in the entryway, we have a vertical slat wall which repeats the look of the porch columns outside. Complementing wooden beams are also used on the vaulted ceiling. Next, stone reaches from floor to ceiling on the impressive fireplace. We recommend that you paint your kitchen cabinets in a deeper hue in order to create an attractive visual contrast from the soft white paint that is used throughout most of the living space. Enjoy a walk-in pantry and a large island in the kitchen.
Upstairs Laundry Room and Home Office
Thirdly, we head upstairs in Modern Farmhouse Plan 81869 and find a home office. It can be converted into another bedroom because it does have a closet.
