Plan Description
Barndominium Style Modern Farmhouse Plan 82915 – 2,500 Sq Ft, 4 Bed, 3 Bath, Oversized Garage & Wrap
Build Barndo Farmhouse Plan 82915 because it has amazing spaces for entertaining, plus four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The wraparound porch is 14 feet deep and has an outdoor kitchen! Enjoy the open concept living space with massive vaulted ceilings among the great room, dining, and kitchen. The kitchen includes an eat at island and large walk in pantry. The garage is oversized and has storage in the back. In total, this plan is 2,500 square feet of living space.
Barndo Farmhouse Plan With 2500 Sq Ft
Are you looking for a barndominium "look" with traditional framing? Look no further because Barndo Farmhouse Plan 82915 is offered with traditional 2x4 wall framing. However, there is also the option to purchase the 2x6 wall upgrade if you live in a colder climate and want more insulation in your walls. Speaking of standard features, this plan calls for a slab or crawlspace foundation, but there are other options. For example, choose the unfinished in-ground basement option or the walk-out basement option. If you choose to finish the basement, your living space will significantly increase.
As drawn, the plan has 2,500 square feet of living space, and we love the open concept of the shared spaces. Walk into the home through a set of double doors, and you are greeted with a lovely vaulted ceiling with decorative beams. The great room is anchored by a cozy wood burning fireplace, and you can set a large farmhouse style table between the great room and kitchen. Kids will perch on barstools at the kitchen island and dine on pancakes every morning before school. Parents will also appreciate the large walk-in pantry because they will never run out of supplies when it comes to family meals or entertaining.
Huge Garage and Huge Master Suite
The main appeal of barndominium style plans is the big garage. This one has plenty of parking, not just for your cars, but even an oversized stall for your RV! There is a storage room in the back measuring 13'6 wide by 15' deep. Utilize this space as a workshop. Keep your tools here or even a golf cart. The garage is 1,260 square feet of unfinished space. Speaking of unfinished space, you can't miss the covered porch which makes up a whopping 1,262 square feet of shaded outdoor relaxation. Good weather is calling, not to mention the mouthwatering hamburgers you can grill up in the outdoor kitchen!
Fantastic bedrooms promise respite and privacy for all occupants. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Jack and Jill bath, and each child has a walk-in closet. Bedroom 4 would make a nice guestroom, and they have access to a full guest bathroom. Mom and Dad have an amazing ensuite with his and her vanities, 6' soaking tub, and a very large custom shower behind it. There is a private toilet closet and a walk-in closet measuring 6'10 wide by 14'6 deep!
