Q:Do you have this plan with a laundry room option?
A:Good morning Bonnie,
The basement version of this plan currently calls for the laundry areas to be established in the basement. The crawl space and slab version on the plans converts the area that would otherwise be the basement steps into an area for a stacking washing and dryer and a mechanical closet. If the customer wished to have true full main-floor laundry rooms in both units, they could also work with Lifestyle Design Services to modify the existing plans. Lifestyles will know best but I think these would be wonderful with the garages pulled out a bit closer to the street so that small mud / utility rooms could be placed between the existing garage and kitchen areas.

Q:On the slab foundation where do you locate washer, dryer and water heater. Can you show us that lay out.
A:There is not a layout I can send since this plan is drawn on a basement foundation only.
You could work with your builder on the best place to locate the washer dryer and water heater.

A:This plan assumes the washer and dryer would go in the basement, but if the owner were to modify the plan to a slab or crawl space foundation, then the plans would need to be changed so the washer and dryer could reside were the stairs are currently shown
