A: The a/c would be located in the attic unless your crawl space is high enough to put there. I would suggest checking with a a/c contractor in your area to see what is standard. The hot water tank should go in the attic with a 6" deep galv. pan and drain to exterior. You may want to go with a tankless hot water system, in which case you can locate just about anywhere. The wall are 9' for both garage and house.
