A: There is attic access located in the garage where there is no ceiling insulation. This home has 12” ceiling insulation over the heated and cooled space and it is not recommended to compact the insulation by placing storage items in the attic above the heated and cooled areas. However, there is ample attic storage over the garage area where there is no insulation.
