Q:Thank you for your quick response to my 3 questions. Very helpful and much appreciated. Looking at the Second Floor layout, and the plan reference to "potential future space", do you have any information or possibly a layout (with dimensions), showing just how much square footage is available? Do you have a building (height) section thru this 30 foot section of the house? I understand that the "potential (living) future space" is very limited because of the sloping of the roof, and the maintaining of a 8 foot ceiling height. My reason for requesting this additional information is: The city (Flushing) in Michigan), where I am proposing to build this home, is requiring a minimum of 1,200 Square Feet, for a 2 story home. This leaves me about 138 Square Feet short of their requirement. Just wondering if there is enough room in this "potential future space" to help me meet their 1,200 Square Feet requirement? A:The potential future space would be about the same size as the MBR but without the angle. It would add 180 sq. ft. of heated area. With some modifications, it would be possible to add 250 sq. ft. or more. If building with the finished basement, the total heated area is almost 1900 sq. ft.
