Plan Description
Modern French Country House Plan Designed with A Growing Family in Mind!
A Modern French style home that offers 2660 square feet of living space on two floors. All ceilings are 9' on the ground floor except in the dining room and living room which have a cathedral ceiling at 12'9'. The initial planned foundation is on a slab, however several other foundation options are available if you want a partial or full basement. The 485 square foot garage includes practical storage and the mechanical room.The sheltered front balcony offers a section with a cathedral ceiling and a corner to set up 2 beautiful reading chairs sheltered from the weather. The front entrance of the house has a large coat closet for guests as well as an office, practical for maintaining privacy and separating office meetings from the family area. An arched ceiling separates the entrance from the living room. This architectural touch is repeated in other areas of the home and is just one of the impressive aesthetic touches provided for this beautiful classic style home plan.
The master bedroom is on the right and is accessed through a small corridor which also has a wall with an arch in the ceiling. A large walk-in closet leading to the private bathroom will delight its occupants! The private bathroom for the parents offers 2 sinks in addition to a bath and a large separate shower.
At the heart of the house is the family area which is bathed in natural light thanks to the imposing window installed in the dining room!
