Plan Description
This inviting design offers over 3,100 square feet of “Home Sweet Home.” On the front, brick is tastefully blended with shake siding, a deep covered front porch, soaring gables and a charming dormer, to impart an unmistakable sense of warmth and hospitality. Just inside, the dining room adjoins the foyer and a comfortable great room awaits just a few steps ahead. The island kitchen interacts openly with the great room and breakfast area which accesses a spacious covered porch – perfect for outdoor dining. Adjoining the great room, an alcove leads to the secluded master suite with its well-appointed bath, sizeable walk-in closet and access to the covered rear porch. Roof Plan: 1/8" scale plan indicates roof pitches, overhangs, saddles and chimneys
Miscellaneous Details: Foundation reinforcing detail show size of footing and foundation wall, size and spacing of rebar. Beam and column detail shows connection of steel columns that are used to support steel beams at basement and footing detail to be installed below slab to support column load. Stair Detail to show builder how to frame with information such as tread and riser heights. Cabinet layouts, included in drawings, can be used to show sizes of cabinets at kitchen to be installed. Hi what is the exterior wall thickness ? Do the stairs in the garage go to the basement or up to a storage area above the garage? Is there a storage area above the garage?
A: Thank you for your question. The exterior walls are 2 x 4. The stairs go to the basement. There is enough ht in the garage for a storage room with pull down stairs but not for a usable room. Again thank you for your question.
